The High School Student Council (SC) represents the AIS student body. It is an elected group, each homeroom grade nine to eleven selects one member and Grade Twelve homerooms select two members.

The SC meets regularly with the Faculty Advisor to address student concerns and issues. It is a very active group who initiates special events and activities such as community services and raising funds for charitable causes and it also serves in an advisory capacity to the AIS Administration Team.
