Community Service

American International School strives to promote student social and civic responsibility. We expect and encourage students to experience community service. This integral part of student life requires the completion of a minimum number of community service hours for graduation.

The number of hours required for graduation depends on the number of years a student is at AIS. The longer a student is in AIS, the greater the senior responsibility for community service and the greater the number of required hours. The number of hours required of each student is:
