Adventure Week

The AIS Outdoor Adventure & Leadership Program will be held from the 23rd – 27th October. During this time the regular High School instructional program will be suspended. AIS teaching staff will be present on all trips. Please browse these pages for further information about the week.

• Grade Nine students go to Yangshou, China
• Grade Ten and Eleven select one of the five following trips, Himalayas (India), France, Beijing, Water Based Activities (Hong Kong) or the Green Extreme (Hong Kong).
• Grade Twelve students go to Chiang Mai Leadership Camp, Thailand

This program is designed provide opportunities for students to be involved in experiencing other cultures and/or learning environments to promote personal growth and development. We aim to promote social and civic responsibility, build self esteem and confidence and to encourage development of self-discipline and a sense of justice. Many of the trips have community service components.

We are committed to providing students with a simulating, enjoyable and safe learning experience.
